Times Record News
The Times Record News was founded in 1907. It is the only newspaper published in Wichita Falls and is the leading newspaper in 15 counties in North Central Texas and southern Oklahoma. The newspaper was a 1999 recipient of the Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics given by the Better Business Bureau of North Texas. The Times Record News and its staff have received numerous editorial awards, including Katy Awards from the Dallas Press Club for a series on race relations in Wichita Falls, and from Texas Association of Managing Editors and the Associated Press-Oklahoma News Editors association for such skills as spot news, general news reporting, column writing, photography, editorials, team effort and design.
The Kindle Edition of The Times Record News contains articles found in the print edition, but will not include some images and tables. Also, some features such as the crossword puzzle, box scores and classifieds are not currently available. For your convenience, issues are automatically delivered wirelessly to your Kindle so you can read them each morning.
